- The camera specifications for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 are now available
When it comes to camera capabilities, the Samsung foldables have clearly fallen behind, but the models from last year made significant improvements, giving fans hope that they might start to catch up. The Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5’s camera setups have been revealed for the first time, and there are both good and bad news.
The Galaxy Z Fold5 will, according to Yogesh Brar, have the same 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide, and 10MP telephoto cameras as the Galaxy Z Fold4. The dual 12MP camera with wide and ultrawide lenses will also remain on the Z Flip5. That is the part that doesn’t look very promising.
The phones are said to come with new camera sensors, which should improve image quality, which is good news. We doubt we will learn more in the months leading up to the announcement, but it is unclear whether all sensors will be upgraded or just some of them.
